PASS HAPPY
Atlanta (@CLE): The Browns tend to give up plenty of passing yardage and scores, and that’s when they’ve had a healthy secondary. Right now, they have banged-up corners and the Falcon passing offense seems to be humming along. The Browns also tend to let the #1 WR go bonkers, so we love Julio Jones this week. He should turn in another 100+ yard effort with (gasp) a touchdown! Great Starts: Matt Ryan, Jones Good Starts: Calvin Ridley, Austin Hooper
Tampa Bay (vs. WAS): The Redskins are pretty nasty against the run, and the Bucs have the worst rushing stats in the NFL. Looks like Ryan Fitzpatrick will have yet another monster passing day, as the Skins are much more forgiving through the air. Look for Mike Evans to get back on track this week, too. Great Starts: Fitzpatrick, Evans, O.J. Howard Good Start (PPR): Adam Humphries Good Start (standard): DeSean Jackson Dice Roll: Chris Godwin
RUN HAPPY
Green Bay (vs. MIA): Something looks “off” with the Packer passing game. Not sure if Aaron Rodgers is less than 100% or if he’s just not on the same page with his WRs or what. But this is a perfect opportunity for the Packer offense to keep things simple and run the ball. Miami is the 2nd-worst run D in the league in terms of giving up fantasy points to RBs. Aaron Jones should have a huge day here, with Jamaal Williams being a dice roll in standard formats, as he could find the end zone. Great Start: Jones Dice Roll: Williams
Chicago (vs. DET): The Bears are rollin’ right now, and between their two backs, have put up the 6th-most fantasy points for RBs. Even split here between Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen, with Howard being great in both standard and PPR formats, and Cohen being preferred in PPR leagues. Howard has been seeing an uptick in yardage recently, and should see plenty of carries against a Lions team giving up healthy amounts of yardage to all backs. Great Starts: Howard and Cohen (PPR only)
