NFL Daily Fantasy Sports Lineup – Week 9

Pass Happy/Run Happy – Week 9
November 1, 2018
4 Star Free Agents – Week 10
November 6, 2018

Decent showing last week due to Andrew Luck, Phillip Lindsay and Tyler Boyd all being solid scorers.  Unfortunately we totally whiffed on the Colt WRs.  How does Andrew Luck put up nearly 24 points but his main WRs only score a collective 5.9?  Weird.  We’ll look to rebound this week.

Quarterback:  Let’s start out with QB this week.  Not something we typically do.  But we had our eyes on a matchup for a few days now, and after crunching the numbers he’s still a value.  That’s right, Fitzmagic is BACK, baby!  Ryan Fitzpatrick ($7,100, beard included) is set for another big day against a Panther defense that allows plenty of fantasy points to QBs.

Wide Receiver:  We love doing stacks with our QB, especially when the matchup is right.  Mike Evans ($7,900) is pricey but he’s seeing a ton of targets (24 over past two games) and has topped 100 yards in those contests.  Another 100+ yard effort with a score is likely.

Tight End:  We’re going to triple-stack here.  O.J. Howard ($6,000) is priced right and we love the matchup.  Carolina is dead last against TEs in terms of fantasy points allowed.

Defense:  Gonna go with Kansas City ($3,900) again.  Justin Houston should be back, and with all the turmoil in Cleveland, we can see them imploding against this hot team.  Baker Mayfield turns the ball over and is very sack-able.

Running Back:  Seeking value here.  Latavius Murray has no real competition for carries right now with Dalvin Cook out, and is only $6,700.  100 yards and a score is very achievable against a Lion team that won’t admit it, but has given up on the season.  They’ve allowed the 6th-most fantasy points to RBs on the season.

Wide Receiver:  We want a part of the LAR/NOS passing frenzy, and Cooper Kupp ($6,800) looks like the best value out of all of the pass catchers.  The knee injury appears to be worked out.

Running Back:  Another value RB here; a guy whose numbers have been impressive the past four weeks (minus a stinker against the tough Bears).  Kenyan Drake ($6,900) remains highly-active in the passing game and faces a Jets D that can be run on.  Frank Gore will get 10-12 carries, but Drake will handle the bulk of the work. He should be good for 80-90 combined yards and a score.

Wide Receiver:  We have an average of $7,350 for our two remaining spots, so we’ll look for a wideout in that range.  Gonna roll Emmanuel Sanders ($7,100) out, with him likely seeing an uptick in targets with Demaryius Thomas now on the other sideline.

Flex:  Left with plenty of cash, meaning we can plug a near-stud in.  Names in this tier are Robert Woods, Adrian Peterson and Travis Kelce.  Thinking Kelce ($7,600) is due for a monster game.  We will plug him in and hope he tops 100 yards and scores.  He could be in for a multiple-score game, actually.

Final Lineup:
