Pass Happy/Run Happy – Week 16

Pass Happy/Run Happy – Week 15
December 13, 2018

Pass Happy

Houston (@PHI):  Lamar Miller may be out, or at least hampered by an ankle injury, and even with a healthy Miller we expect a lot of passing from QB Deshaun Watson against the banged-up secondary of the Eagles.  Watson will be good for at least 250-275 yards and 2 scores.  DeAndre Hopkins owners should be salivating, looking at the worst secondary in the league in terms of giving up fantasy points to WRs.  He should be good for at least 100 and 1-2 TDs.  Demaryius Thomas might even be worth a look in PPR formats.  Great Starts:  Watson and Hopkins   Good Start (PPR):  Thomas

Kansas City (@SEA):  Patrick Mahomes had an “off” week against the Bolts last week, going for just 243 yards and a pair of scores.  We think the Chiefs will get back on track this week even against a solid defense like the Seahawks.  Mahomes is a must-start as he has been all season.  Expect at least 270 yards and multiple scores.  Tyreek Hill remains a great start along with Travis Kelce, but all other pass catchers should be avoided unless you’re in a large league and feel like rolling the dice.  In that case, we’d roll Chris Conley out there and hope for the best.  Great Starts:  Mahomes, Kelce, Hill  Dice Roll:  Conley

Run Happy

Dallas (vs. TBB):  Dallas got blanked last week and we fully expect them to get back on track this week, mostly by relying on their bread and butter.  Zeke should touch the ball at least 25 times against a defense giving up plenty to opposing RBs… especially on the road.  If Zeke isn’t in the 100-125 yard, 2 TD range we’d be shocked.  He’s a must-start in all formats and a good option in DFS as well.  Great Start:  Elliott

Minnesota (@DET):  With new offensive coordinator in tow, the offense looked MUCH better for the Vikings.  The run game looked like a well-oiled machine.  Expect Dalvin Cook to have a huge effort with Latavius Murray also offering some value.  Cook should top 100 total yards and score and Murray should be good for at least 50-60 combined and also score, making him a decent flex pick in larger formats.  Great Start:  Cook  Good Start:  Murray
