Blah. Fair to middling on our picks last week. Adam Humphries continued to impress, netting 15.6 points. Also, the Baltimore D gave us 15. Aside from that, we didn’t get enough. Let’s take a look at what values we can snipe this week.
Wide Receiver: For the money, D.J. Moore looks like one of the best values of the week. We have him grabbing at least 5 balls for 80 yards and a score against Cleveland. There’s room for more, too, especially since he also carries the ball a couple/few times a game. At just $6,300, he’s an easy first choice.
Tight End: Since we’re off to a good start value-wise, we think spending at tight end makes sense. Zach Ertz ($7,400) is going to see a ton of targets against Dallas this week and could find the end zone as a result. Not a week to be trying to find value at this position. We’ll take a stud here.
Defense: They’re one of the more expensive picks this week, but the LA Chargers are too good to pass up. We’re spending $4,600 but honestly, saving a few hundred bucks isn’t smart this week. The Bolts could easily post 17+ fantasy points this weekend.
Running Back: Great week to find value at this position. There are second and even third stringers that will be getting starter-level snaps. One such back is Justin Jackson. And at just $4,500, he’ll allow us to “stud up” at a couple other positions. Austin Ekeler does better as the “1B” runner, so Jackson should see a ton of snaps against the Bengals, who give up the most fantasy points to RBs.
Quarterback: The Philly secondary is SO banged up. Gotta think Dak Prescott will best his 270 yards and 2 TDs from a few weeks back. At just $7,400, he represents a ton of value at the QB spot. We will look to stack up next.
Wide Receiver: Best WR option on the Cowboys right now is Amari Cooper ($6,900). Cooper went 6/75 against these same Eagles last week. That is probably the floor for Cooper this week, with 6/100/1 being our projection.
Wide Receiver: We have over $7,600 per position so we’re not afraid to spend a bit here. Loving Davante Adams, even at $8,700, against a weak Atlanta secondary. Gotta think the Packers offense gets “opened up” with Mike McCarthy gone. Adams could put up 25+ points in FanDuel scoring this week.
Running Back: Detroit is terrible and the Cardinals really have nothing on offense except David Johnson ($7,000) and Larry Fitzgerald. The Lions allow at least one rushing score each game and although he’s only caught 4 balls the past 3 weeks, we think Johnson will be more involved in the passing game this week.
Flex: Going to swing for the fences here. We’re thinking that both Charger RBs will put up points against the Bengals. Gonna flex Austin Ekeler ($6,700), thinking he catches enough balls to put up 17-20 points.
